At December 2003, I started to work in the Institute of Integrative Neuroanatomy on a project to analyse the neuronal mechanisms underlying social recognition in rodents under supervision of Prof. Veh. I got my PhD in Neuroscience from the International Graduate Program Medical Neurosciences, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, at 16.02.2009. Since graduation, I started my work as assistant professor in the University of Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, Tehran, Iran. I'm teaching neuroscience subjects, neuroanatomy and neurophysiology for BSc, MSc and PhD students of rehabilitation majors.
Because I'm really interested in bridging neuroscience findings (basic science) and therapy (practice), neuroscience became very interesting for audience. Hence, many students come to me daily and ask for information about education in neuroscience. I always direct them to the universities which are rich in human resources, equipment, organization, attraction and so on, with emphasis on Charité.
Hitherto, some of students have shown interest in studying neuroscience in Germany, but wondering how to apply, and so on. I think it would be very successful if I am officially responsible and assigned to help students find a MS or PhD position in Charité.
