Learning outcome

Students will learn about subjective and objective physical and psychological findings in chronic pain patients, how to interview patients with chronic pain syndromes, about interdisciplinary diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, and about bio-psycho-social interactions in chronic pain.

Structure

Each Wednesday 2-3 patients will be presented and interviewed by an interdisciplinary team of physicians, psychologists and physical therapists

Assignments/Exam

Students will have the opportunity to participate in the interviews and should have a background in physiological and pathophysiological principles of pain. No tests or grades are given.
